Click-In Loop Quick Release

The Ozone Click-In Loop is a push-away quick release system with an exceptionally intuitive one-step reload function.

The release handle sits comfortably in the hand and can be activated quickly by simply pushing it away.

Once released, the mechanism automatically positions itself ready for reconnection.

Reloading is as simple as clicking the loop back into place.

This makes the system particularly useful for:

• fast reloads

• cold hands or gloves

• stressful situations

• teaching environments

• regular safety checks

The Click-In Loop is AFNOR NF S52-503 certified.

Bio-based Dyneema® Modular Flying Lines

The Contact V5 features high-quality Bio-based Dyneema® flying lines.

The lines are:

• colour coded

• precision cut

• pre-stretched

• spliced

• sewn in Ozone's own production facility

Line strengths:

• front lines: 500 kg

• rear lines: 300 kg

Bio-based Dyneema® offers the same performance characteristics as conventional Dyneema®, while significantly reducing its manufacturing carbon footprint.

Modular Design

The modular line system makes it quick and easy to change line length.

Removable pigtail end connectors allow extensions to be added or removed with minimal effort.

This gives riders greater flexibility when using the same bar with different kite sizes or riding styles.

Ergonomic EVA Grip

The bar features a 3D-pressed EVA grip with ergonomic shaping.

Its lightly sanded finish provides a secure and comfortable feel, even when wet.

The grip is colour coded to match the leader lines and flying lines, providing an additional visual safety reference.

Click-In Design Philosophy

The Click-In Loop was inspired by the simplicity of a car seatbelt.

When you buckle a seatbelt, the click immediately confirms that you are securely connected.

Ozone wanted the same intuitive feeling from a kite quick release system.

Riders should activate and reload their quick release before every session.

The Click-In system has been designed to make this important safety check quick and natural, helping it become part of your standard kite setup routine.

Recommended Safety Mode

Below the Bar Release

Ozone recommends attaching the kite leash to the small eyelet of the Flag Out System on the stainless steel swivel ring.

When the quick release is activated:

• the kite flags out

• most of its power is removed

• the kite falls to the water or ground

This is the recommended setup for normal riding.

Expert Mode

For experienced riders only

Expert Mode is intended primarily for riders performing unhooked freestyle manoeuvres.

In this configuration, the chicken loop passes through the larger eye of the stainless steel ring.

If the bar is released without activating the quick release, such as during a missed handle pass, the kite will depower but will not fully flag out.

In this situation, the quick release may also become difficult or impossible to reach.

Expert Mode should therefore only be used by experienced riders who fully understand the risks involved.

Keep It Clean

Correct maintenance is essential for reliable operation of any safety system.

After every session:

• rinse the control system with fresh water

• ensure all lines are clear of the release mechanisms

• check that the kite leash is connected correctly

• activate and reload the Click-In Loop

Ozone recommends storing the control system with the Click-In release open.

Reload and test the system again when setting up for your next session.
