Click-In Loop Quick Release

One of the Contact V5’s standout features is the Click-In Loop.

This push-away quick release system is designed to be fast, intuitive and easy to reload.

• simple one-step click-in reload

The Click-In Loop is AFNOR NF S52-503 certified.

Two Release Modes

The system supports two release configurations.

Below the Bar Release – Recommended Mode

The kite leash attaches to the small eyelet on the Flag Out System.

When the Quick Release is activated:

• the kite flags out
• power is significantly reduced
• the kite falls to the water or ground

This is the recommended setup for general use.

Expert Mode

An alternative expert configuration is available for experienced riders performing unhooked tricks.

In this mode, the kite can depower without fully flagging out.

This setup is not recommended for general use and should only be used by experienced riders who fully understand the system.

Bio-based Dyneema® Flying Lines

The Contact V5 uses colour-coded modular flying lines:

• 500 kg front lines
• 300 kg back lines

The lines are:

• precision cut
• pre-stretched
• spliced
• sewn

Ozone uses high-quality Bio-based Dyneema®, which offers the same performance as conventional Dyneema® while, according to Ozone, producing a carbon footprint 90% lower than generic HMPE fibre.

Modular Design

The modular line system makes it easy to add or remove extensions.

Removable pigtail end connectors allow quick and simple line configuration.

Ergonomic EVA Grip

The bar uses a 3D-pressed ergonomic EVA grip with a lightly sanded finish.

Safety and Maintenance

Before every session, make sure:

• the kite leash is connected correctly
• all release systems are clear
• no lines interfere with the safety mechanisms

Always rinse the control system with fresh water after use.

Ozone also recommends regularly activating and reloading the Click-In Loop to confirm that the system is functioning correctly.

Store the control system with the Click-In Loop release open.
